Full overtime earnings
Rounded half up to cents, once per aggregate category. Gross is the sum of the displayed categories. Overtime earnings include full 1.5×/2× pay.
Based on your scope confirmations. Before deductions; not take-home pay, a legal entitlement decision or a payroll run.

How BC overtime is classified
Daily overtime: the first 8 hours of a day enter the regular/weekly pool. Time after 8 through 12 hours earns 1.5×; time beyond 12 earns 2×.
Weekly overtime: only each day’s first-eight-hour portion counts toward 40 hours. Eligible time above 40 earns 1.5×. Daily overtime is not counted again.
No double counting: a minute is classified once. Daily overtime is removed before the weekly 40-hour pool is evaluated.
Use a Sunday-to-Saturday week. Daily totals cannot establish rest intervals or resolve cross-midnight shifts. Those situations must be checked before using this tool.
Worked example
At $20/hour, five 10-hour days produce 40 regular hours ($800) and 10 daily overtime hours ($300): $1,100 gross worked-time pay. Six 8-hour days instead produce 40 regular hours and 8 weekly overtime hours: $1,040.

Know the limits
This tool estimates worked-time earnings under a restricted current general rule. It does not determine all wages owed. If a condition is uncertain, consult the official sources or a qualified payroll professional.
